Every year on Halloween, families around the world decorate their houses with Halloween decorations. Decorations can vary from cobwebs to monsters. An interesting part about the monster decorations is that it's not all fantasy, there are some real-life things that many people have found scary, like the spider. There are normal spider decorations for Halloween, but there's a specific type of spider decoration that I just have an attitude toward.
This type of spider decoration in question is the skeleton spider. Skeletons play a huge part in Halloween and are seen everywhere, from cat skeletons to children dressing up as one, but why does the skeleton spider even exist? Let's get technical here, sure, the spider does have a skeleton, but just like insects, this is an exoskeleton. So while the spider has a skeleton, they don't have BONES! "It's not supposed to be real, it's just supposed to be scary." Who already isn't scared of a spider? Daddy's long legs and jumping spiders are ok and all, but get any bigger than that and we'll have a problem. If you're not scared of those kinds of spiders, then I'm scared of you.
There's absolutely no reason for a skeleton spider decoration to exist, other than to just be funny. Just have regular spiders as decorations, ok? Let's put this mass skeleton spider Halloween decoration production to an end; spiders are awful creatures that should all be bunched up into a ball, placed into a vat of acid, and squished. Thank you for reading.
