Tyler, The Creator proved me wrong

Just 2 weeks ago, I wrote that Tyler likely wouldn't release any music for quite some time, thanks to a cheeky tweet from March he released claiming there would be no album to follow up 2023's Call Me if You Get Lost: The Estate Sale in 2024, let alone a single to tide fans over. A reveal trailer and 2 single releases later, I've learned that I was sorely mistaken.

As of this blog's writing, Chromakopia, his newest project, isn't out quite yet, but that doesn't mean there isn't a ton of wild speculation and rumors to go over. For one, despite Tyler claiming there will be no features on Chromakopia, rumors about appearances from guests like Frank Ocean or even Kendrick Lamar have spread like wildfire. After all, since Tyler deceived us over the album's existence in the first place, who's to say 'no features' isn't a case of 'fool me once'? This is especially relevant considering the announcement of the Chromakopia World Tour, where not only Tyler but also Paris, Texas, and Lil Yachty will tour the globe to promote the project; could these other artists be featured as well, as is typical when multiple artists tour to promote a single project?

Then again, it wouldn't be completely unheard of for Chromakopia to have no features: 2019's Igor had no 'features' listed in song titles or descriptions, despite verses from Playboi Carti and Kanye West, among others, appearing on the album, Tyler specifically mentioning a lack of features could be him pulling this trick again.

Since this post won't be out until Monday, it doesn't particularly matter, since we'll all be aware of who's on the album, and I will most certainly have a review prepped for next week.
