Trending How: My Fall Inspirations

As the weather gets colder and the sky stays darker it gets way harder for me personally to get up in the mornings, but something that helps me be motivated enough to start my day is my wardrobe.

Believe it or not, Autumn is actually one of my favorite seasons (tied with the summer). The colder weather means I get to layer my clothes and wear my favorite jackets and sweaters which gives me a lot more freedom in what I wear. Especially with my job where I work around 5 days a week with a dress code that stops me from wearing everything I'd like without pants or a long shirt underneath.

There is something so romantic about the fall. The changing leaves and chilly breeze in the air makes everything feel like pure cinema. This all makes me do nothing but imagine my life as a show, with myself as the main character of course.

And with that, here are some of My Fall (Style) Inspirations!

  • To start, where else would I turn to besides Pinterest? The amount of hours I have spent on this app and website needs to be studied. It is my life's goal to become a pin on someone's board.

  • Nana- This show has been a huge inspiration to me recently. A story of two confused twenty-year-old girls surrounded by rock and punk music? Sign me up. That plus the heavy inspiration from Vivienne Westwood makes this tragic story perfect for this season's list.

  • Veronica Mars- How can I not mention my favorite project of the one and only Kristen Bell? The early 2000s show about the teen detective completely altered my brain chemistry, with her attitude and the clothes I felt the to become her.

  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer- This show was my Twilight and Vampire Diaries, and while those are also inspirations to me this time of year, it all started with one of my favorite blondes, Buffy. The 90s, Vampires, and blondes, I don't think anything could be more defining for me.

  • Nora Fawn- I have been a fan of her for quite some time now, with her stunning cosplays matched only by one of my dream closets, she has to be mentioned on my list.

  • Misa Amine- If you have ever seen my Instagram, you would know that my profile picture is the cartoon model, actress, and second Kira herself, Miss Misa Amine.

  • If I were ever a Tumblr user of course you would be seeing that here as well, specifically from the early to mid 2010s, but I am a fake fan. I love everything about the aesthetic and media from that app but sadly it can merely be an honorable mention here.

This list could go on and on but unfortunately, I must end it here. I have also given you the pleasure of seeing a couple of my recent outfits ;) Dressing up is one of the highlights of my life and truly my clothes are a part of who I am, so I hope that you enjoy this blog as much as I did!
