What to write… what to write…

The question that goes through my head every week regarding blogging, essays and, don’t judge me, even texts. What is so hard about putting words together to create a meaningful message? Well, let’s start with the fact that not everything said is meaningful. I’m always searching for the meaning behind things. What is the significance of life? Why do we have to experience years of confusion and insecurity, and then go into the real world and experience more years of confusion and insecurity? I guess I’m looking at it through a pessimistic lens. Maybe, the meaning of everything is as simple as living through it. Maybe the meaning of life is to live it. Who knows.

Something I’ve been thinking a lot about is what goes past our universe. There are so many videos zooming out of Earth and showing where we come from; our own universe that’s surrounded by more universes. We are such small creatures compared to the immense existence of everything around us. Yet, we still experience our own lives through our own perspectives, and our feelings rule the way we see the world. Our world is also a small creature among the intense extent of the universe, and universes past that. It’s difficult to wrap my head around that. How can we learn more about this and experience the length of the universe within our lives? Who knows.

What’s the next step? As a young adult with no detailed future plans, I feel, in some way, behind everyone else. But even those who do know what’s ahead are still struggling with finding their life path. Anything can happen at any moment, and none of us know what it will be. An injury can change the course of your life. An encounter with someone can change the course of your life. Even a kind message to yourself can change your life. The butterfly effect, something I cannot wrap my head around, may exist. We may all be pawns in the game of life. Who knows.

Who knows what’s next. Who knows what will happen during our lives, and what will happen after that. All I know is that it is a privilege to be able to experience. To be able to experience life outside of our own selves. To be able to experience other people’s own selves.

So let’s go experience.
