If you haven’t noticed by now, I just wanted to point out that the Icelandic band Sigur Rós made a quick, little cameo on this week’s episode of The Game of Thrones! The band performed a beautiful cover of “The Rains of Castamere” which would easily melt the hearts of any listener, except King Joffrey, of course.
Fans of Sigur Rós are already familiar with the band’s sound, but obviously the king was not. It turns out that Joffrey wasn’t very satisfied with his wedding song. Check it out below. Do you think that the song was appropriate for his royal wedding?
