The Orwells- Burger Records Releases “Remember When” on Cassette

Seventeen years young and these five members rock harder than men twice their age.  Local rock n’ roll band from Elmhurst, Illinois, The Orwells released their debut LP Remember When last August through Autumn Tone Records.  Last week, Burger Records released their album on cassette. Their single, “Mallrats (La La La)” makes you remember those rebellious high school days; ditching class to go to the mall, smoking cigarettes after detention, and crushing on that cute kid in Bio class who always wore that CBGB’s T-shirt.  Although they’re currently on an east coast tour, I’ll be waiting for these boys to come back home on March 23rd at the Beat Kitchen, so I can join in on the teenage angst.
