After 3 years of waiting, hoping, and dreaming for new music following 2012 album Lonerism, Tame Impala has finally (finally!!) come out with an epic new single titled “Let It Happen.”
The song hits nearly 8 minutes long and features different ranges of the band’s talent. The band is featuring a more electronic sound in this single, but they manage to pull it off with snazzy synths, dreamy vocals, and a catchy beat.
The first half of the song draws you in, and leads you into the second half with dramatic, inspiring string instrument sounds and an excellent jam sesh with Daft Punk-y robotic auto-tuned sections.
While I’ve done my best to describe the main highlights of the song, it’s definitely worth it to experience it for yourself to completely immerse yourself in Tame Impala’s sound. Check it out below:
