Spring Recap

In honor of the end of the semester, I'm looking back at all of my shows over these last couple of months, with respect to the main theme and idea of Mashup Radio.

I played lots of different genres with a broad scope of artists. I started the semester with a classic rock show, which showcased some of my favorite rock artists like Billy Joel, Black Sabbath, and The Police.

I also did about four Spanish shows, which are always fun to do and very interesting to put together. I'm looking forward to doing more in the future, and I hope that all the listeners have been enjoying it!

In April I had the opportunity to interview a band that preformed at the UIC's Latin American Music Festival, which was a great experience for me; I had a great time talking with the group and discussing their stories. Doing interviews was for sure new to me, but I had fun with it and I hope to do more on the show in the future as well!

There were also two different shows which featured the great Frank Sinatra! His style of music is a favorite of mine, and I am happy I was able to play it on the show. Next semester I have lots of great shows planned and I want to thank all of my listeners! I will be back soon!
