Did you miss SPARK 2024? No worries, I am here to bring all the FOMO vibes in this post! We will cover all the bands, dj's and artists you missed. Let's get this started!!
DJ MONEYCA
First up, we have our DJ Battle Winner, Moneyca! This year, Moneyca brought afro beats and hip-hop to the table for our UIC community. From playing hip-hop to FEIN, the crowd went CRAZY!!! Lots of amazing vibes and I know the we will all remember this moment.

EARL HESTER AND THE NASTY BOYS
Next up, we have our Battle of the Bands Winner, Earl Hester and the Nasty Boys! The music, the vibes and their vocals!!!? So soothing and lovely to hear. We had the band performing songs that students would remember. This goes from love songs to a memorable song that is dedicated to one of our beloved UIC students.

EARTHGANG
Next up, we had our SPARK 2024 opener, EARTHGANG! Their set was incredible, bringing an energy that instantly connected with the students. With their unique vibe and infectious beats, they had everyone vibing. EARTHGANG's music speaks to all kinds of listeners, making it easy for everyone to feel included and hyped. They've also collaborated with big names like JID, J. Cole, Smino, Saba, and Duckwrth, adding even more to their impressive lineup!

JID
Finally, closing out SPARK 2024 as our headliner, we have JID! Known for his fast flows, lyrics, and unique style, JID brought an energy that had everyone hyped up. He's a rising star in the hip-hop scene, signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records, and has made waves with his standout albums and killer collaborations. He’s worked with top artists like J. Cole, Smino, and 21 Savage and blended different sounds and delivering unforgettable performances every time. From start to finish, his SPARK set was amazing, leaving the crowd with a performance they'll never forget!

SPARK 2024 EXPERIENCE:
Overall, SPARK 2024 was amazing! Meeting new students, making memories and glamming up was the highlight of my experience! There were also lots of food trucks, where they served ice cream, wings, funnel cakes, and more. The glam station also gave an opportunity for students to add charms to their nails and take pictures at the photo booth. Here are some pictures to continue the FOMO mood ;)
