Songs I love

In honor of Valentine's Day, here are some heartfelt songs that I will always love.

"Tupelo Honey" by Van Morrison

This song is sweet and laid back. It sounds like calm waves on a sunny day. If you ever need a song to ease your worries, this is the one for you.

"Ram On" by Paul & Linda McCartney

This song is so simple and so perfect. It has approximately three lyrics in total, but even then, the message is clear. "Give your heart to somebody soon". This song cuts all the nonsense and gets straight to the point, which is rare in a song about love.

"I'm Still Waiting" by Bob Marley & The Wailers

Pining in the best way. This song has no fault; I could listen to it in an endless loop and never get tired.

"That's How Strong My Love" Is by Otis Redding

I am still confused as to why this isn't played at every single wedding ever. This song is timeless in every sense of the word. It would be wrong not to have Otis Redding on this list.

"A Case of You" by Joni Mitchell

A lyrical masterpiece and one of the most important songs in Joni Mitchell's entire discography. She writes about love in a way nobody else ever has or ever will.

"Velvet Elvis" by Kacey Musgraves

This song is secretly the best song on Golden Hour. I just love it so much.

"Beechwood Park" by The Zombies

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. If you were to take the feeling of nostalgia and put it in a record player, it would sound exactly like this. It's a memory that comes to life and should be on your playlist.
