Songs For Your Spring Playlist

With spring coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my favorite songs for this season. If you're looking to create a playlist for your spring adventures, or just need a reminder of the warmer weather, then you're in the right place! I've got a variety of songs to share with everyone today, so there should be a little something for everyone. Let's get started!

Silk Chiffon - MUNA feat. Phoebe Bridgers

This one is just a classic for me. This song was just meant to be played in the spring. It's one of those things that's hard to explain, it just feels like a song for a sunny day out with friends. It doesn't have anything too serious to say either, just a fun song to help you catch a vibe.

Sunshine Baby - The Japanese House

This song is easily one of my favorite songs from The Japanese House. This one is perfect for the afternoon when things are going slow and starting to die down a bit. The lyric "Sitting in the backseat, driving with my sunshine baby", while simple, paints a really clear picture in my head. For this reason, it also hits differently while driving around on a warm day with the windows down. A chill bop that can easily get stuck in

your head.

Love Me Anyway - Chappell Roan

In terms of Chappell songs, this one has flown under a lot of people's radar. Which is really a shame, cause it's one of my favorites from her. This one is great during those cool spring nights. Whether the sun is setting or the stars are starting to hang in the air, this one is a fun little love song to get the night started.

Venice B**** - Lana Del Rey

Most people tend to think of Lana as an artist who hits best during the summer, and while I do agree, I think she has a lot of good songs for the spring as well. Not only is this song just addictive to listen to, it's also quite long. It's a good song to put in the background while you study or do chores. I love all the acoustic elements in this song, they do most of the legwork to make this song a good listen for this season. But I do also love the

weird synth stuff that happens about

halfway through.

Add Up My Love - Clairo

This song is perfect for the spring because of its light production. There are a lot of instruments present in the song, but the most notable is the flute parts. I can only imagine how good this song would be for a picnic in a flower field. It's just a really cute song (in terms of sound, don't pay attention to what's going on with the lyrics lol).

Apple remix - Charli xcx and The Japanese House

The second song with The Japanese House on this list... you see how that works? Maybe take it as a sign. Anyway, I really like both the performance and production of this song. The vibe of the song is so distant from what the lyrics are conveying, but who caressss? I'm here for the happy vibe and depressing lyrics about complicated family relationships!!

Worth It - beabadoobee

Just a fun and simple rock song. It kind of sounds like something you've heard before, while still being new and refreshing. Bea's light vocals also make this an interesting listen. While there is a lot going on in this song, and it does have some explosive moments, I think it adds a fun, upbeat moment to a spring day.
