Shada's Intro

Hello Everyone! My name is Shada Siam and here at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I am Mathematics major, and this will be my last year here! Do I know what I am going to do after college, not really, but thats ok because I know a large percentage of the school does not as well.. Moving forward, for this weeks blog, I plan on giving you guys an introduction about myself! Here it goes...

I am 22 years old and I have 3 sisters; Lana, Dunya and Mena. I also have a little brother named Azmi, and three cats with the names Tokyo, Kyoto and Kobe. My first cat was Tokyo, and his name was inspired by the character "Tokyo" from the show "Money Heist" . So, when I got the other two cats, I decided to just name them other cities of Japan so they can match in a way.

This is Kobe. She is the youngest out of all three, as well as the meanest. She only likes you if you feed her.

This is Kyoto. She is 2 years old and is the sweetest cat I know! She will get upset if you don't pet her often.

This is Tokyo and he runs the house. He is 3 years old and only acknowledges my mom, as they are best friends.

So now that you know about my cats, here are some things about me. I have multiple different hobbies. I like to read, bake, crochet and do nails! I am very very very beginner when it comes to crocheting. I don't even know how to read a pattern yet! In terms of genres when it comes to books, I don't have a bias. Although, you would never catch me reading a nonfiction book on my own free will. Adding on, I am also very beginner when it comes to doing nails. I am not certified and so far I have only been practicing on close friends and family. Here is some of my work..

As I am new in doing nails, I have been baking on and off since 2022. And I would like to say, I have gotten better over those 2 years to the point where I sell my treats! Here are some pictures!!

As I would love to explain the details of the cupcakes and the heart box, I am going to save that for next weeks blog, as well as share where my love of baking came from.
