Last Tuesday I went to the first show of Seventeen’s Right Here tour at Allstate Arena, which was a super fun experience. I was astonished by their stage presence and overflowing talent.
I went in blind on the setlist, which ended up being a ton of fun because every song took me by surprise. I know a lot of fans are disappointed with this tour’s setlist because it doesn’t have some of their recent hits, like Spell and Hot. Personally, I thought the setlist really captured their growth as a group in the last ten years. They performed their first hits, Adore You and Aju Nice, and songs from their most recent mini album Spill the Feels.
I think my favorite song performed was definitely Water. Even though the song was released only a week ago, everyone in the crowd knew the words and the overall energy was unmatched.
With most of the members enlisting in the military in the next year or so, this concert felt a bit bittersweet. I’ve been listening to Seventeen’s music for four years now and went to their last show in Chicago two years ago. I’m really looking forward to seeing each member’s solo career take off but will always like them best as a group.
Here’s the complete setlist for anyone interested!
