Guys, the Party 4 U lore is real! Recently, on TikTok, many people post about what they think the "Break" of the song feels like. For me, this part of the song evokes the feeling you get when you meet someone at a party you’ve been avoiding for a while due to unresolved communication. When you finally lock eyes, you can't help but feel that tension.
But I love all the edits everyone has made with this audio, with scenes from shows and movies, and I am going to share some of my favorites! (spoilers ahead)
Someone Great
If you haven't watched this movie yet, you're missing out! The story centers around Jenny, whose boyfriend Nate breaks up with her because he doesn't want to do long distance, as she's moving away. The film captures Jenny's last adventure in New York. In this scene, she attends a party and sees Nate. Her expression reveals a mixture of nostalgia and sadness as she remembers all the good times they shared, but also recognizes that he is no longer hers. Her presence at the party is significant as she is trying to have a good time despite the lingering memories of her past.
Tell Me Lies
This! If you have ever asked me for show recommendations, I have always recommended this show-- so juicy, plot twists, and literally everything good; I do not think I have ever gotten bored watching this show. This show revolves around a toxic relationship between Lucy and Stephen. They meet in college and get hooked on each other, but it's not a healthy love. They lie all the time, treat each other badly, and it messes them both up for years. I do not want to give away too much on what is happening in this scene, but basically, Stephen is with his ex in this scene, even though he has been with Lucy, and you can see that in the start, Lucy was looking for him and was surprised to see him with his ex.
Summer I Turned Pretty
We all know and love this show, Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah, an amazing love triangle between two brothers. Belly navigates these feelings, deals with first crushes and potentially choosing who she wants to love. In this scene she is under the influence, and before the scene she ends things with Conrad at the beach and then enters the party again where she sees Jeremiah and the tension is real you guys. They were playing "Snow on the Beach" by Lana Del Rey in the actual scene, but if you ask me, this sounds good as well.

Charli XCX has spoken and has told us what this part is actually supposed to feel like when she made the song. so basically, from her POV. Though this song released in 2020, it got no fame until this year because Charli started trending after BRAT. But I cannot wait for more Charli music! Especially the EDM one.
