As Paris Fashion Week comes to a close, I wanted to look at some of my favorite looks and trends seen front row at the shows and on the street this week. Here’s my highlights:
2010's style was on full display
2012 is calling, it wants its fashion back. Nothing has made the shift into 2010’s fashion more than Paris fashion week where indie sleaze and Tumblr styles were all over. From chunky bo-ho jewelry to flowing dresses, much like what we saw on Doechii at the Chloé show, it felt like Coachella in 2014 all over again. Does the fact that styles I grew up with have come back around make me officially old?

Fur was everywhere
Fur could be seen both on the runway and off this week. Chloé’s Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection featured faux-fur lined collars and hanging animal tails. Faux fur could also be seen in streetwear throughout the week in a way that fits well with the return of indie sleaze.

MVP Goes to Doechii
After seeing her looks at the Grammys and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Doechii has been high on my list for stylish celebrities. At Paris fashion week she lived up to every one of my expectations with countless unique, stunning looks that made me even more excited for her upcoming Met Gala look.
One of my favorite looks from her was from the Chloé show. She’s one of the few people who can make going barefoot look classy.

The look for the Schiaparelli show was a complete 180 from her Chloé look and featured a denim corset over an elegant white gown.

Although she had some fantastic outfits at the shows, my absolute favorite look of Doechii’s this week was this street style, complete with wired earbuds. I absolutely love the layering of the open shirt and jacket, as well as the creative use of a tie as a belt. This is definitely a look that will be on my Pinterest boards this Spring.

Runner-up is Chappell Roan
Chappell Roan’s first fashion week was filled with many hits that set the tone for her new celebrity status. From metallic dresses with alien-like makeup to a dollish look at the Valentino show, Chappell Roan showed just how versatile her now signature drag-inspired makeup can be.

I Love Layering
This one is more of a personal note than a trend, but I absolutely loved to see the creative ways people used layering this week. I will certainly be drawing inspiration from these random attendees seen in the Vogue street style photo gallery.
