Hi Everyone, I’m a new blogger here on UIC Radio. I’m a Communications student hoping to get my break as a journalist someday, but for now, I’ll be sharing some music-related interests as well as an insider’s look at events going on at UIC and our radio station.
I’m obsessed with unusual genres of music like Bollywood, European goth/alternative rock and classic crossover and am also a dancer, so I love a good dubstep. I found one not too long ago as I was searching through the hiphop/break dance niche of Youtube for some new moves. I like how you get a good mix of recognizable melody alongside that harder beat-scratch sound that adds a whole new dimension to popping and locking. Check it out!
