The Art Institute of Chicago has a new exhibit open from now until June 29th, 2025. The exhibit will feature a collection of over 50 new and rarely seen ancient Roman sculptures, half of which, to quote the site itself, “…have been newly cleaned, conserved, and studied specifically for this exhibition”. This will be the first public showing for many of these fabulous pieces in over a decade, meaning this is something you don’t want to miss.

The pieces included in this collection range from depictions of the gods, such as Cupid and Psyche, to the emperors of ages long past. If you’re like me and love the ancient world, this collection is not one to let slip by!

Fun fact: any UIC student gets FREE admission to the museum!
