- Aragon Ballroom, Chicago - Lil Uzi Vert comes to Chicago for the Pink Tape tour! I had the opportunity to engage with the audience before Uzi's performance.
I asked fans the following questions:
What time did you start waiting in line?
One thing that you like about Uzi?
People typically started arriving around 1pm, and the earliest arrival I heard was at 10am. Fans shared their appreciation for Uzi's down-to-earth personality and their bonds with both their fans and family. They also delved into Uzi's artistic growth and their dedication to chasing their dreams as a rapper.
WHO IS LIL UZI VERT?
Lil Uzi Vert is a rapper based in Philadelphia. Throughout their career, they became well-known for the album 'Luv Is Rage,' which opened the door to Atlantic Records for them. You might recognize their featured songs with Playboi Carti, such as "wokeuplikethis*," "Shoota," or "Of Course We Ghetto Flowers." As a rock fan, I enjoyed listening to the album and hearing unexpected features. Songs that Uzi teased before releasing the album included "x2", produced by Ken Carson, and "Suicide Doors"!
CONCERT DAY
As the clock struck 7:30 p.m., we were treated to a special DJ appearance by DJ PForReal on stage. Familiar songs that you could groove to filled the air, and the crowd's energy continued to rise. When DJ P announced Lil Uzi Vert's upcoming performance, fans erupted in cheers, eagerly awaiting Uzi's appearance. Here are some cool shots and videos I captured throughout the concert!

UZI ANNOUNCES LUV IS RAGE 3
It's finally happening!! Uzi officially announced LUV IS RAGE 3 on stage! Most of the fans have been waiting for the album to drop for years! I know before they kept on teasing LUV IS RAGE 3, they released "RED AND WHITE" and. "PINK TAPE". After the album, Uzi plans to continue living a normal life! As fans heard this announcement, they were heartbroken, but they were also proud of Lil Uzi Vert! As a longtime of Lil Uzi Vert, I am proud of their accomplishments and music they made throughout their career. We can't wait to hear the new LUV IS RAGE 3 project and attend their next concert!
