Kingston Mines

So its 1:30 am and the bar you and your friends have been at is doing last call. However, you’re not ready to end the night quite yet. You gather your entourage and try to decide where the next destination will be. Fear no more for I have the answer, Kingston Mines! Kingston Mines is located in Lincoln Park and let me tell you, its the bee’s knees. It is a Blues hall that always has live music and friendly staff. It is a great place to either chill, or bring out your dancing shoes and cut a rug to live bands. There is even a student discount if you show them your school ID. Want some more icing this Blues cake? It is open until 4 am on Fridays and 5 am on Saturdays! Plus, they have some delicious barbeque that you must try!

Every time I go there I always find myself having a great time. It is a large enough space where you don’t feel like you’re sitting on other people, yet anywhere you stand you’ll be close enough to the live band to enjoy them. The musicians that they have perform are all grade A. Some are local talents will others are from across the US. Either way many of them are big names in Blues and it’s evident once they being to play. Kingston Mines opened their doors in the late 60’s and have been providing a good time ever since. If I haven’t made this clear, this place is must. First dates, late nights, or dinner and a show this Blues bar has you covered.
