Her Campus at UIC

This blog is the eighth installment of UIC Radio’s Women History Month series profiling and celebrating the musical and artistic work of women throughout the month of March, as well as highlighting and promoting women’s organizations on campus. What Is Her Campus Magazine?

Her Campus Magazine is an online magazine, written by college women, for college women. There are many other Her Campus chapters, all over the nation. This chapter represents UIC.

We cover many different topics, such as fashion, health, news, travel, beauty, relationships, food, entertainment, and more! We work with popular brands that sponsor us, allowing us to review their products for free! Along with this, we also host fundraisers, charity events, team bondings, and have monthly meetings. This semester, we are working together online and meeting via Zoom.

Being a member of the club consists of being part of either editorial (writing articles) or social media/marketing (promoting articles online). Each group has an important role, which brings our organization together.

The best part about joining HerCampus Media is that we work with your schedule. We are all students at UIC, and do our best to accommodate what works best for you.

All HC content is found on hercampus.com, where contributors from all over the nation publish their work. Articles from UIC’s chapter are found at: https://www.hercampus.com/school/uic.
