“When you forgive, you in no way change the past – but you sure do change the future” -Bernard Meltzer The school year is almost over and it would be a terrible way to end things on a bad note with someone if a misunderstanding happened between you two.
A world without fighting, arguing, and disagreements would be a perfect world to live in, but unfortunately that is not how life goes. Mistakes happen, people fight, and tears are bound to come falling down your face.
It happens.
Regardless of what the situation once was, you know that deep down you still care about this person and that one mistake should not break up a strong friendship.
Of course whatever happened is going to hurt and you may feel like you can never forgive them, but is it worth losing someone who cares for you and respects you?
Although it may seem like the end of the world that someone who means a lot to you hurt you, remember one thing: Be the bigger person.
Forgive them for what they did, forget it, but also remember what it taught you. Don’t lose someone based off a silly mistake or a misunderstanding. Life’s too short to lose people who mean something to you.
