On 4 CHI CITY RADIO, we had Feezable The Germ come through for an interview and bring to yall his latest single “Live Loud, Die Young”. During his interview, we got a chance to get to know a bit more about him. Here’s a bit of what Chicago’s own Feez, had to say…
Name your Top Five favorite artists? Any genre… Dead or Alive and reasons why..
My Top Five Artists are:
Jay-Z… undeniable flow and use of metaphors with wit. Nas… Phenomenal word smith/story teller with a jazzy vocal approach. Joe Budden, he has intriguing heart break stories, whether it’s his love life or friendships. His choice of metaphors, punchlines and wit. Kanye West! The most creative musician next to Prince. Stories, themes, and I find to be most relative. Sade, for her soothing vocals with live instrumentation intrigues me! It pulls you in to a story that can go longer than 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
What inspired you to become a emcee?
Watching a Jay-Z video “Roll Wit The Click” had an affect on me to be smooth, but sharp. To know that you can inspire or convince people with your words was powerful to me.
Tell us about one of your biggest accomplishments as an artist? Or most memorable moment.
My biggest accomplishment thus far would be creating music/videos that big blogs and radio have embraced.
What do you hate and what do you love about Chicago?
I dislike the ignorance of our city… I love our culture in the city and the food!
After the interview, Feez took time out to spit a few bars… check it below.
