Favorite Events in Illinois

Hello everyone! I hope you guys are doing well! As promised from last week, I will share my favorite events/festivals that I have visited in Illinois. Now, lets begin.

-Strawberry Fest

There has been numerous Strawberry Fest's that I have been too, yet the one that is hosted in Long Grove is one of my favorites! This three day event usually happens during the summer time throughout the whole weekend! Tickets are usually $5 a day or free for ages 12 and younger. They have many artists preform each day, many food trucks that offer literally anything strawberry flavored such as wings! It also includes many small vintage, dessert and coffee shops! What I recommend is trying their iced strawberry chai, donuts and freshly squeezed strawberry lemonade! They also do have a whole other side that includes fun roller coaster rides (extra charge).

-Hello Tokyo

Now, this is not really a festival, yet, this store is for all of my Sanrio lovers out there!! This store is called Hello Tokyo and is located in Niles! It is a bit of a drive yet it is worth it. What is special about this place is that most of their items are $2.99 and below! It is kind of like a Hello Kitty family dollar store! When I visited that store, I did end up spending about $130! They also do have a photo booth inside the store that costs only about $4. They have many plushies, office supplies, snacks, w and so much more.

-Blueberry Fest

Windy Acres Farm holds many fest's during the different seasons. They hold strawberry fest's, blueberry fest's, a fall fest and etc. I would say that the blueberry fest would be my favorite. They have small rides mainly intended for children, as well as zip lining. They also have large sized hamster wheels, large sized cup pong, footballs that you can play with and etc. They also have a few small pop up restaurants, animals that you can feed, as well as a market that serves fruits and desserts!

Now I do understand that this is a short blog, but again, I really don't go outside. Although, for the next blog, I will talk about my favorite shows and concerts that I have attended! Until next time, Shada :)
