Men I Trust, an indie band from Quebec, just released their new album, Equus Asinus. The name of the album literally means "Donkey." It has 14 tracks and is 1 of 2 albums they are releasing this year. They have been a band since 2014 and have released all their music independently, except for the physical releases.
This one has more of a folk vibe, and the next album is titled Equus Caballus, which will be released later this year. You might know Men I Trust from iconic hits like "Show Me How," "I Hope to Be Around," and "Numb." Their vibes are very chill and relaxing. Some of my favorite tracks from it are "All My Candles," "Moon 2," and "Frost Bite." The soothing vocals and calm instrumentals make it a perfect album to listen to when spring is here and just enjoying nature, having a picnic, taking a walk or studying for finals. They are coming to Chicago in August for their tour, so don't miss them!
