Friendly Hello and Introduction!
Hello! I hope you're all doing well and to those who choose to celebrate, Happy Thanksgiving, and to those who don't, I hope you all had a great break! This season is full of cramming, and I am pressed for time. So! Similarly to last week I'm keeping this short and sweet, and I'm going to talk about my top three songs off of Soundgarden's Louder Than Love.

What is Louder Than Love?
Louder Than Love was the Seattle Grunge band Soundgarden's second studio album, released in 1989 with a tracklist of 12 songs. This album is one of my and many's all-time favorite albums and influenced many artists we hear and love today. I absolutely love every song off of this track and it's so hard to decide which songs are my favorites but I've revisited this album this week and I cannot get it out of my head
⊱✿⊰ 3. Get On The Snake
My third favorite song off of this album is the fifth track, "Get On The Snake." It's so jumpy and upbeat, and Cornell's vocals are so alive that it just makes my heart jump!

2. I Awake
My second favorite song off of this album is the eighth track, "I Awake." The opening slow, dissonant chords make my stomach drop; I wish I could listen to this song for the first time again. It's so good. The slow but strong progression to the chorus gives me chills, similar to how I commented on the last song; Chris Cornell has possibly one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and his ability to preach his lyrics affects me in a way no other artist can.

3. Gun
My top favorite song off of this album is the third track, "Gun." My absolute favorite song off of this album, the slow chugging of the guitar, the deep bass, it's everything to me. I feel like I'm lacking words to describe the song but I want everyone to listen to this album at once in their life. As a Melvins fan, not only did they play this song while they toured with them, but I can hear the influence of the Melvins on Soundgarden in their song "Gun."
