4 Wrestling Dream Matches We’ll Probably Never See

Wrestling in this point in time is arguably the best it’s ever been in terms of pure wrestling ability and the quality of matches there are with the various talents all around the world. These talents include the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, War Machine, Ricochet, Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., The Usos, The New Day, The Revival, Finn Balor, Gallows & Anderson, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Seth Rollins, and so on. However, I feel with the amount of talent there is, there won’t be some dream matches due to talent not wanting to go to another company or have left a company on bad terms. Here are 5 Dream Matches that may never happen…

  1. Adam Cole vs Kenny Omega Both of these wrestlers are very popular for their time in Bullet Club. Kenny more-so, because he connected with the Japanese audience more; meanwhile Adam only connected with the English speaking fans. However, they are both amazing talents in their own rights; however, there was a story building in Ring of Honor and New Japan to have these two feud, but Adam left Ring of Honor before he ever got to have the feud and match between the two for who is top alpha in Bullet Club. Adam went to WWE and Shocked the System. Adam works for WWE at the moment; meanwhile, Kenny for New Japan and both don’t want to work with each other due to limiting styles and creative differences.

  1. The Elite vs the New Day The Elite are a subgroup of the Bullet Club composed of Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. The New Day is composed of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E. These two groups are trios who have been very successful in their own rights. The New Day have captured the WWE Tag Team Championships 4 times. The Elite have captured the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship twice, IWGP Intercontinental Championship, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship 7 times, IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, and Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships twice. They are also all very successful in merchandise sales. And Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods are very good friends outside of wrestling through video games; however, The Elite work for ROH and NJPW; meanwhile, work for WWE. Additionally, at the moment there is dissension in the Bullet Club with the Kenny and The Bucks at each others throats, so there might not be the Elite with the problems they have. Additionally, The Bucks have a Cease and Desist on them on part of WWE to not use the ‘Too Sweet’ hand gesture anymore. So, the Bucks may never go to WWE for that.

  1. Young Bucks vs The Revival The Young Bucks and Revival are arguably the best tag teams at the moment, because the Bucks are known for their high flying and spots that they do in wrestling; meanwhile, the Revival are known for their old school mat wrestling and they have a friendly feud. The Revival work for WWE and The Bucks for WWE’s rival companies NJPW and ROH. And they have merchandise that throw jabs at the other team; for example, the Bucks have a shirt with a FTR aka “F*ck the Revival,” and the Revival have one that says, “No Flips Just Fists.” I doubt it’ll ever happen for the problems with WWE and The Bucks.

  1. AJ Styles vs Kenny Omega AJ Styles and Kenny Omega at the moment are two of the best wrestlers in the world for their in ring ability and being able to have a great match with anyone even if they’re not a good wrestler. They were both in New Japan at one point and both members of Bullet Club and Kenny usurped the Bullet Club from AJ and kicked him out, because of it was AJ’s last match in New Japan before he went to WWE, and they never properly had a match. I firmly believe that Kenny Omega vs AJ Styles could be another 6 star match.
